Learn more about us

If you are looking for a renowned non-profit organisation , active in Brussels and Wallonia since 2003 and which watches over nature every day, we have what you need: Natagora! 🌿

Their mission? Halt the degradation of biodiversity and restore a good general state of nature, in balance with human activities. And to achieve this, the team is taking action on all fronts! How? Through four pillars of action that make all the difference:

🔎 Protect – With more than 200 nature reserves covering 6,000 hectares, Natagora preserves fragile ecosystems where fauna and flora can flourish without threat. These spaces are carefully managed by an army of volunteers and experts who ensure that habitats are suitable for endangered species.

📊 Study – To protect effectively, you need to understand. To do this, Natagora sets up scientific programs to monitor the evolution of species and identify the dangers that weigh on them. 🐝 It also supervises numerous monitoring/observation programs and develops targeted protection and awareness-raising actions .

🗣️ Get involved – Natagora does not stand idly by in the face of decisions that threaten nature, quite the contrary! The teams challenge the public authorities, influence environmental policies and mobilize citizens so that nature is finally a priority. Their strength? A network of more than 30,000 members and 2,000 volunteers, all united to defend this essential cause.

🎓 Educating – Convincing also means raising awareness and transmitting. Natagora therefore organises training, events, targeted campaigns and educational activities so that everyone can discover the richness of living things and learn how to protect them. 🦔

With the equivalent of more than 12,000 football pitches in nature reserves preserved in Wallonia, Natagora protects jewels of local biodiversity. 🐾🌾 An ecological network reinforced by their Nature Network, an eco-social project that provides tools to welcome more biodiversity on land occupied by individuals, associations, companies, municipalities... Because every square metre to be preserved counts!

So, convinced? Want to put your skills at the service of nature? 🌱
