Job description
The Iris Sud Hospitals hire a Head of the ORL Department.
As a Head of Department, you will be responsible for the following:
- You will be responsible for operational coordination and arbitration between the functional units that make up the department;
- You will be responsible for the optimal coordination at each site, in regular consultation with the medical coordinators of the sites;
- You will be responsible for the proper organization of care implemented by the managers of the functional units of the department;
- You will be responsible, in collaboration with the managers of the functional units, for the definition and execution of the department's medical strategic plan, as well as its follow-up;
- You will be responsible for the budget for your service and its implementation;
- You will propose, for the short and medium term, a medical framework for the department and its distribution by site;
- You will chair the Service College at the inter-site level.
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following conditions:
- Be a specialist in Otorhinolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery for at least 10 years;
- Have a broad knowledge of the specialties constituting the service with a demonstrated qualitative execution;
- Be able to carry out an activity of 10/10ths per week (to be discussed) (8/10ths per week minimum), compatible with the role and responsibilities of a Head of Department;
- Be able to be exclusively attached to HIS for your hospital activity;
- Have a knowledge of the second national language;
- Know how to federate a team that you will support in a major change;
- Experience or training in hospital management will be considered an asset

We offer you
- A self-employed contract of indefinite duration, with a 5-year mandate as Head of Department.
- An attractive salary. The activity of the ENT department is "pooled", which guarantees stable remuneration and paid leave. However, 80% of your remuneration will be based on your individual activity.
- 30 days of paid leave and 10 days of scientific leave per year (in proportion to the number of periods of activity and the number of months worked within HIS) are covered by the pool.
- Insurance covering the professional civil liability of doctors for all medical acts performed within the institution.
